“When I first started playing with chains for my runway creations, I was experimenting with taking traditional silkscarf motifs, like linked-chain patterns, and transforming them into some- thing three-dimensional,” explains Creative Director Olivier Rousteing. “Since then, we’ve seen how that new Balmain Chain works as well for the house’s accessory collections as for our runway offerings.”
